Quote: There is chocolate and a quiz and three very nice, if a little nervous, people. Kate Copstick. Still Got It Review in The Scotsman with a judgement of 2 stars!
Quote: ‘Lissi is refreshingly unusual and as a charming, more mature female comic she stands out. She has a gentle yet confident delivery with some quirkily original ideas’. Chris Head, comedian, writer and tutor.
Quote: ‘You were sick!’ Young audience member at Up the Creek. I was fine of course, but his concern was kind.
Quote: ‘Lissi has instant likability and charm on stage, coupled with a sharp underlying wit‘. Jon Long, musical comedy tutor
My Comedy Bio
I am a 70 year old comedian, offering 5 / 10 minutes of comedy, based on my life and times. Age, youth and everything in between…
I have gigged at Bill Murray, the Angel Comedy club and the Cavendish, (with best of the night cups to prove it), downstairs at the Kings Head among others in London. I have gigged at Hot Water in Liverpool, in clubs in Manchester, Birmingham, Coventry and Portsmouth. I have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and led a team of four in a one hour show at the Brighton Comedy Festival. I have succeeded at Beating the Gong at various locations, including Up the Creek Blackout. I have also won various speech competitions at my Toastmasters Club: EarlyBird Speakers, in London.
Currently I am part of a Comedy Group called Still Got It. We tour the country going to Festival Fringe venues. See the Still Got It page on this site. We recently played a full run at the Edinburgh fringe in August 2024′
My material is based on a long and non illustrious life. Moving from being shy and quiet to toughing it out on the comedy circuit. With drumming skills after four years of learning my craft! Laugh with me as I enjoy music festivals, travelling to China, visiting the Galapagos Islands and the humdrum reality of everyday life.
